We are very excited that our new bus has been delivered, and it is already very busy and on the road, including several long day trips to Vancouver Island.  We have the only bus for seniors in Burnaby, and will continue to make it available to the other Burnaby Centers for their trips, as well as some other regulars like Century House (New West), Society Activity groups, snooker, mahjong, and increasingly, other seniors groups in the community.

The logo and name of Mulberry Parc will soon be displayed on our new bus, as they have so generously in the past stepped up with donations for our programs and are contributing to the cost of keeping the bus on the road.

Here's a chance to say thank you to our President, drivers, hostesses and scheduler for all the time and effort they spend volunteering in the research, purchasing, maintenance and scheduling for our seniors.  Trips are posted at the senior's counter, so why not come and join us for a day trip?

We are needing a pianist for our SINGALONG group at the Bonsor Recreation Center.  Must be able to read music from song sheets, available a week before group meets. Songs basically from 50's and 60's, and some musical theatre, and classic songs.

This is a delightful group of seniors who thoroughly enjoy singing and socializing for two hours every second Thursday.  DO COME AND JOIN US !  For further information contact the senior center at 604-297-4580.

On March 20, 2024, Bonsor 55+ Society was delighted to receive a cheque worth $12,000 from our wonderful partners, Mulberry Parc toward our purchase of a new bus. Mulberry Parc has a long history of supporting seniors in Burnaby and at Bonsor we have been fortunate to have partnered with them on many initiatives and are always thankful for their generous support. Thank you mulberry parc for your continued support for our seniors' programs!

Bonsor 55+Society and Mulberry PARC in Burnaby have signed an agreement for sponsorship for our bus last week.  We are delighted that the Mulberry has agreed to assist us in keeping our bus "on the road" for the use and enjoyment of all our members.

THANK YOU MULBERRY PARC!
