To maintain, improve and promote quality leisure lifestyles for Burnaby’s adults aged 55 PLUS.

To ensure a wide range of leisure and education opportunities which promote growth, challenge, and life long learning.

To provide older adults with an opportunity to participate in the development of the service through opportunities to serve on the board of directors, and/or participate on sub-committees which implement programs.

To provide the older adult an environment where they feel positive self-worth through acceptance by others, belonging, recognition, contribution and achievement.

To work towards making services accessible to all older adults regardless of their health or economic level.

To present to the Community a positive image of the older person and to encourage interaction of citizens of all ages.

To encourage older adults to utilize all aspects of the Bonsor Recreation Complex.

To work together, staff and members, for advancement, improvement and to ensure quality and variety of programming.
